The American Women's Club of Oslo

Description: The American Women's Club of Oslo is one of many American Women's Clubs in cities all over the world. We are a group of women who come together for social and fund-raising activities. We are a non-profit organization that raises money for various groups, but our main outlet is a scholarship which we award every other year to Norwegian applicants wishing to pursue studies in the United States. Membership in the club is open to American women or women with ties to the United States. Our members meet officially every month, with special interest groups -- fabric crafts, books, 20s and 30s women, wine appreciation, etc. -- holding separate get-togethers.
