Our Mission Statement
Our goal is to give each animal the opportunity at a second chance at life. We will strive to provide a safe and caring environment for animals that have endured starvation, neglect, and/or physical abuse. A place were animals can come when they are no longer wanted by their owners. Each animal receives medical attention and daily human contact. We help to rehabilitate each animal in the hopes that we can locate responsible, caring, loving homes and place these animals in an environment that both benefits the animal and the adoptive family. For those animals unable to be adopted they will live out the remainder of their lives here at the refuge.
We also seek to educate the public on proper care and feeding of these animals. It is our hope that through our educational programs people will learn to recognize signs of abuse and neglect and where to report such issues.
It is my personal belief that not all animals need a job to be happy and loved. Sometimes their beauty and grace must be experienced in person for the general public to begin to understand why these animals deserve a second chance at a normal life. Even simple programs such as
