Geo Thermo Dynamics, based in the New South Wales Snowy Mountains, is the only Australian owned and operated ground source heat pump installation company in Australia (to the best of our knowledge). All of our systems are Australian designed, manufactured, and installed.
W&C Laub Heat Pumps was established in 1993, and in 1998 changed our name to Geo Thermo Dynamics, since the name reflects the true nature of work (moving earth heat).
With over twenty five years experience in heat-pump heating and cooling system design and installation, we have installed many ground-coupled and air-based heat-pump systems in various locations throughout eastern Australia. We have also installed a variety of heat-pump systems at many large and small swimming pools. We are currently installing several ground-coupled and air-sourced heat-pump systems in a variety of locations.
Heat pumps are up to fifty times as efficient as using photo-voltaic cells on a 24 hour basis. They are the ultimate solar heat collector, since they collect stored heat in the ground, water or air, which photo-voltaic cells are unable to do.
Heat pumps are one of the most efficient electrical appliances for heating, as 1kW of electricity can supply up to 5.5kw of heat. This also makes heat pumps one of the most environmentally friendly heating appliances in the world.
