Welcome to the Gallant2000 Equality and Diversity Project
Gallant2000 have been working with all sectors on a project around Equality and Diversity. We have designed resources to deliver effective, efficient and practical solutions for Equality and Diversity agenda. We have made available a variety of Equality and Diversity resources that have been tried and tested with proven results from this project.
The whole field of Diversity and Equality is still emerging and requires people with talent to manage it. This is what makes it so exciting. We have training courses (e-learning and face to face) where we deliver tools and techniques which are from our project findings. These methods harness talent and release the individual’s full potential, thereby increasing performance. These tools have a way to evidence how to reduce social injustice and show how to apply the theories of Equality and Diversity. Everyone wants to improve and develop; we have vibrant and dynamic frameworks that stimulates this growth. An effective way forward for us all, is to unleash the power of Equality and Diversity and acknowledge that greater strength is produced by harnessing difference. Equality and Diversity must be seen to be a positive force, one that is inspirational, visionary and embraces us all.

One of the main aims of the Equality and Diversity project is to work with organisations to assist them to understand Equality and Diversity in the widest sense (click here for a list of organisations). We look to expand knowledge and skills to deliver results through a mixture of delivering training, (in all formats including e-learning) carrying out consultancy and producing materials all focusing on Equality, Diversity and Human Rights.
We work to produce materials (including e learning packages) suitable for all sectors, focusing on the issues of Social Inclusion, Equality and Diversity, including all the Equality characteristics (disability, age, religion and belief, sexual orientation, race and gender, trans, transgender and socio-economic status) combined also with the issues around Cultural Competence (for more information on Cultural Competency click here)
Our mission is to enable the spread of knowledge and understanding of the above topics in a practical framework that meets all learning requirements. This, in turn, allows individuals to gain much sought-after professional qualifications and knowledge which benefits organisations, helping them meet the current and future responsibilities in the ever changing equality legislation. We have so many demands on our time and energies that we dont always have the time to seek out and source credible tools and techniques, Gallant2000 do this for you (for more about Gallant2000 click here).

Aims
Equality is about us as people. It is about our lives it is about our hopes and dreams, our loves and hates, our ideas and beliefs, our drivers and motivators, work and play, our memories and ambitions, flashes of guilt and sparks of genius. It is about our emotions and behaviour. We all experience these and it is our right not to have them distorted through inequality practices.
Creating Equality in the future will demand capacities and developing capabilities that until now have just been options. We live in a time of rapid and vast changes (economic,climate, global, demographic and technological) — all of which are dramatically affecting us. We need to be able to cultivate our capacities and develop our capabilities within our society and community.
We are an Equality and Human Rights practice, leading the field in creating and designing high standards for Diversity and Equality. We are dedicated to deliver qualifications focused around Equality and Diversity to redress the balance and meet the above aspirations.
Ask yourself are new ideas, new beliefs and new actions neccessary for a society based on Equality and Diversity principles. We think the answer is yes, and this is the aim of our practice.
