Schweizer Lab at UCLA Neurobiology
The Schweizer laboratory uses electrophysiological and optical tools to investigate the dynamic molecular mechanisms underlying neurotransmitter release. Currently we are focusing on neurotransmitter release from vestibular hair cells and use cell membrane capacitance measurements to quantify exocytosis.
