INCAR was originally created as a software program to collect and store data and information about classic cars that were appraised and insured for major insurance companies and lenders by Classic Appraisers.

Advantages of INCAR:
Once a car is registered on the INCAR registry that information is permanently stored and cannot be deleted, even by the owner. If the information is found to be incorrect, an administrator can edit it or delete it with confirmation from the owner. More information can always be added to a cars file
