Hi, I’m Albert Dickson, a Photographer based in Boise, Idaho. I am devoted to crafting images of the people and places that make our lives special. My fervor for getting the shot can be infectious. The passion I have for creating meaningful images emanates from the photographs I make.
Photography first taught me to see instead of just look in the 1970s. I grew up In Florida until I entered the Navy. My time in the service allowed me to carry my camera to many parts of Asia and the South Pacific. I have traveled the west from Alaska to Baja photographing the amazing people and landscapes that surround us. My landscape photography has been exhibited around the Northwest.
For several years now I have taken a new path with my photography. I have fallen in love with the human form. Making photographs that explore the complexity of individuals and dynamics of relationships can be both challenging and tremendously rewarding. I thrill at every opportunity to get the deep sense of person and place that only a still photo can capture and preserve. My portfolio also includes commercial editorial and portraiture work.
