Yarcombe Inn - Home
The villagers of Yarcombe now run this inn as a community venture and have re-awoken this wonderful old coaching inn, once more making it the heart and soul of the village. The Yarcombe Inn is set in a beautiful village nestling on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, and dates back almost a thousand years. It is said to have once belonged to the monks from Mont Ste Michel in France, and along with the rest Yarcombe was later owned by Sir Francis Drake.

Burgundy's Wine Bar
Burgundys Wine Bar is in the centre of busy Kendal but encourages an atmosphere similar to that of a friendly village local pub where all age groups can mix on a regular basis to exchange views and ideas. Regularly featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide, Burgundys has up to four real ales available at any one time in addition to numerous options in the categories of lagers, whiskies, spirits generally plus, of course, wine red, white, rose and champagne. Thursday night is live jazz night and the bistro type atmosphere provides an ideal setting for both this and indeed, day to day and night to night convivial drinking in the company of new friends. Extensions are planned including a beer garden for those long summer months and the introduction of food so...watch this space!
