Ana ( it is acronym of an anti nuclear antibody) blood test is a test by which , autoimmaune disorders as sle(systemic lupus serythematosu) can be diagnosed .when any patient suffers with joint pain , fatigue , and low grade fever then needs for ana blood test . ana blood test is the determination test of presence of antibodies in your blood , these antibodies can be very harmful for you . to know about ana blood test , we should know about different types of antibodies. Antibodies refers the proteins which are made by white blood cells and usually circulate in the blood to protect against viruses, toxins and bacteria. In addition , auto antibodies attacks on the cells of body in place of toxins, viruses and bacteria . anti nuclear antibodies is a set of many antibodies which stands against cells of body . antinuclear antibody test is also known as fluorescent antinuclear antibody test , to perform this blood test first of all we should draw some blood as a sample from body of patient and send to the lab .if fluorescent cells are present in the blood sample ,it is said to be positive and absence of fluorescent cells is said to be negative .normally , ana is found in patients which suffers with cancer , lung diseases and infections too. Next step is determination of titer comes in ana test and we can determine titer in ana by repeating positive results until we get negative consequences in ana . this can be said in other words that ana report test has three parts which are (a) positive or negative (b) if positive , we should determine titer in this condition . (c) report of fluorescent test is given . it will be good to take down results of ana blood test , if results on ana blood test is positive for 65 year old person , we should not worry about this case because it is a normal case in old age person .
