singing rhythm and blues on street corners when he was twelve. It would take forever to list all of his favorite singers,
but a few standouts are Sonny Til, Nolan Strong, Pookie Hudson, Arthur Prysock, and Billy Eckstine. When Angel was 15, he
joined his first band as a bass player and eventually played with the legendary Grandfather of Rock 'n Roll Chuck Berry.
