SASA: Support Alliance for Stray Animals
SUPPORT ALLIANCE FOR STRAY ANIMALS, INC. (S.A.S.A.) is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization that seeks to help save the lives of homeless animals by assisting individuals who rescue animals and by providing vouchers for veterinary care and food for the animal. Through our efforts we hope to save many animals from dying a horrible death on the street or being brought to an animal shelter to be euthanized.
S.A.S.A. was founded in 2004 by individuals committed to reducing the number of stray animals on the streets by encouraging responsible people to adopt them as pets. Often times, kind-hearted people will stop to help a stray animal, yet after taking it in to care for it realize the medical attention it may need proposes a financial strain, and he/she cannot afford to keep it. It is S.A.S.A.'s philosophy that no one should ever turn his/her back on a stray animal, but instead find alternative solutions to spare the animal from continuing life on the dangerous streets.
