Welcome to ViZualEchoes I picked up my first SLR camera (a friend's camera truthfully) in May 2009 and I've walked camera-in-hand since. Funny really, I've always wanted to 'take pictures' not the way I did with my point and shoot, but the way my Dad did in his heyday - traveling with his camera everywhere, stopping time and again to capture the moments that captured him. I don't really know why it took me this long...I do know that I am on a journey of self discovery, in thrall, and attempting with every shot to capture and reflect the world as I see it...and I see the world differently, I see myself differently because of photography. Join me on this continued journey? I'll try to minimize the blurry photos, poor composition and grainy shots. There won't always be a complex story behind the image, and when there is your interpretation may be different from mine. But if it happens that we see different ideas or messages revealed, I'll believe myself to be on the right path.
