Martin Markle is an executive producer with sixteen years experience in creating and managing content for broadcast and online exhibition. He has produced hundreds of hours of innovative content, and received a Gemini Award as the executive producer of the CBC youth comedy series The Morgan Waters Show. Martin served as Executive in Charge of Production for Canwest Broadcasting, providing creative guidance to series broadcast on Slice, TVtropolis, and E! As Executive in Charge of Production for CBC Television, Martin supervised Dragon Booster, which won the Gemini for Best Animated Series.
He was the Creator and Executive Producer of 240 episodes of The X, a pop culture comedy series for tweens, and the Senior Show Producer of U8TV: The Lofters, a groundbreaking reality series and website that followed eight young Canadians with 21 cameras taping 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
He has written for Polka Dot Shorts and Yam Roll, directed live television, and produced
content for Alliance Atlantis, TVOntario and Astral Media. He has worked across a broad
spectrum of genres, including lifestyle, reality, youth programming, comedy and animation.
