Welcome to the home page of The Art of John Bertolone. This is my little nook in the worldwide electronic library we call the internet. A place where my various canvases are on display for observation. A little digital curio cabinet full of jpeg oddities. The past few years I have been working on a body of work that represents the energy that runs through everything, the cosmic energy. These works are abstract/surreal in nature and mostly are directly channeled through my mind, pure creation.
In the past months i have been working towards a new style. I have been experimenting with different oil mediums to create atmospheric effects and emulate some of the old master's style. Choosing to work from life or copy other paintings i am learning to paint from life and gain a higher level of realism.
My next Step is to fuse the two styles, to emulate motion and vibration on a level of reality that exists on a higher dimension of thinking similar to that realm quantum mechanics. A world of endless possibility and potential.
