Patricia Linder, award-winning writer, spent thirty-seven years, honing her talents to match the demands of her husband’s naval career. In Row, Row, Row Your Boat, her first memoir, she allows the reader to share with her the roller-coaster ride of a Navy wife, often alone, but always expected to be a ‘woman for all seasons.’ The Lady and the Tiger is her second book, based on the life of a military wife caught in the middle of an international intrigue in the Far East. During her husband’s career as a Naval Officer, she spent many years, traveling through Europe and the Orient. Her second book describes the frightening aspects of being in the right place at the wrong time, but by using her pragmatic Iowa background and having been born in the Year of the Tiger, she never doubted her ability to survive any situation. Patricia Linder’s most recent book is Just for Joy – just for the joy of reliving a childhood spent during historic years. This is her third book and it focuses on a particular time of significance to her country and to the small Iowa town that survived a world war, only to slide into a twelve year Depression, a mini ice-age of the Thirties and another World War that would end only with the use of an atomic bomb.
