The Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards
The highly acclaimed Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards were established in 2007 and are designed to encourage entrepreneurship in the region. The Awards are unique in that they offer not only substantial cash prizes and a range of professional services, but are open to new businesses, young entrepreneurs as well as charities, social enterprises and those businesses that are making a proven positive social or economic impact on the local community.
The Awards area replicates that of the Morgan Foundation's grant giving remit, namely North Wales, Merseyside, Cheshire (west of the M6), Shropshire and Wolverhampton.
Cash prizes totalling £105,000 are on offer together with a package of valuable professional services for winners and runners-up from our sponsors and event supporters. The 2011 Awards will be launched on 21st June in Wolverhampton and on 22nd June in Liverpool with entries being accepted on line from then until Friday 2nd September. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to make a presentation to a panel of expert judges at Carden Park Hotel near Chester on 27th or 28th September and winners will be announced at the now famous Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards Gala Night on Thursday 10th November.
