When you buy one of our products, Barrel X donates a percentage of the proceeds to one of the following foundations:
* The Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection of the world's oceans and beaches through conservation, research and education.
* The Nosara Wildlife Rescue organization, which helps save helps save injured, orphaned, and displaced animals, providing them with medical care and eventually releasing them back into the wild. I discovered Nosara on a recent trip to Costa Rica, where ongoing construction is destroying the canopy and much of the country’s wildlife that depends on it.
* The Food Allergy and Anaphylactic Network (FAAN), a non-profit organization that funds research to find cures for children's allergies. This is a serious problem that is under funded by the US Government, and FAAN is trying to compensate. This hits home for me, as I have two sons who suffer from severe food allergies and face challenges associated with those allergies every day.
It is our goal at Barrel X to help these charities that work tirelessly to make us safer, and protect our environment and endangered wildlife. We’ll make sure the percentage from your purchase goes to one these important charities.
