BioMed Visuals develops custom medical and scientific 2D and 3D educational animations, interactive CD-ROM media and illustrative graphics for the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies of the new millennium. Specialty areas covered are both human and veterinary anatomy.
We begin the process by learning the science behind your drug, device or product. Working in concert with your consultants and experts, we identify the concepts, elements and physiology to be communicated. We produce a detailed storyboard, move through the approval process, regulatory review and turn your complex message into an accurate visual presentation. As a full service creative studio with representation in Boulder, Colorado and San Diego, California, quality project management and client service are first and foremost. Co-founders Amanda Almon and Travis Vermilye bring a resource of talented digital media specialists to work with your team. Both partners have Masters degrees in BioMedical Visualization and Digital Illustration from the University of Michigan. Both are Professional Members of the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI). Almon and Vermilye have both won professional awards.
