These were the questions I had to ask after three separate automobile accidents shattered my world. The emotional pain they inflicted on me was unrelenting, causing me to cry out, "Lord, when will bad things stop happening to me?" I didn't think I could endure the wounds caused by these tragedies, but God helped me walk through the dark valley and back into the light. He can do the same for you. With His help, you can see the sunshine again. I invite you to read my story and see how God's grace is more than sufficient for your grief. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. II Corinthians 1:3 & 4 THINGS TO SAY AND NOT TO SAY TO GRIEVING PEOPLE... When you see someone grieving, give them a hug, a handshake, or just say nothing and listen to them. Tell them you love them if you can't think of anything to say. Don't tell them you understand, because you don't. Don't tell them it was God's will, because in their eyes it isn't. Don't tell them that it will be all right, because it is not all right. Don't tell them to call you if they need anything; they won't. Just hug them, tell them you love them, and listen to them. My love goes out to those whose hearts are aching and breaking. I do know how you feel and I do know the pain and emptiness in your heart. There is hope, just hang on and depend on Christ to help you through this.
