Fifth Veil was formed in 2009 in Boulder, Colorado. John Boggs (vocalist, composer, pianist) and Conor Brown (composer, multi-instrumentalist) began the band while spending a summer at Conor's secluded childhood home in the foothills outside of Boulder. Soon joined by Gabrielle Herbst (vocalist, composer, laptop artist), they turned the basement into a recording studio and spent the next two months recording and writing music. A.J. Krumholz (guitar) and Jimmy Pelizzari (guitar) joined the band in the winter of 2010. Now based out of Germantown, New York, near where the members of Fifth Veil met while studying music at Bard College, they continue to write and record material. Fifth Veil will release its first album in the fall of 2010.
