Capturing the innocence of a child’s laughter, the joy of watching a young couple holding their newborn child for the first time, a bride as she tries on her wedding dress or her fathers smile as he gives her hand in marriage. A families reunion while on vacation after not seeing each other in years, and course, the beauty of the sun as it peaks over the horizon on an early morning beach walk, or at days end, as it slowly descends into the river. Capturing the beautiful reds purples & oranges as it paints the sky. Yes, I call it Gods Canvas, I believe that to be the most beautiful site. About 20 years ago, I landed a job playing Santa's Elf at a local mall, I had so much fun taking pictures of children, I guess I had what it took to make a child smile or laugh,probably because I'm just a big kid myself, After that Christmas, I decided to apply for a job at a local retail photography studio, you know the ones that people never think of as a real professional portrait studio... Well I really learned a lot there , and realized I had a knack for getting the picture, I found myself loving photography. It became more than a job, it was an passionate adventure! I love the excitement of it all,the excitement when we/I got that perfect picture of the family or their child. I soon started teaching myself everything I could about what I hoped one day would be a great picture. My friends would tell me I have a natural eye, I just knew I loved photography in every aspect & meaning .of it. So after working for several studios & private photographers, I bought myself my own camera equipment & decided to venture out on my own. I love the outdoors & working in the natural light, especially the beach, as you can see most of my work is there.
So here I am just a simple girl, doing what I love & trying to make a living at it, a photographer who loves making memories last forever, perhaps yours.
