Corinna Clendenen - An Artful Affair
Corinna P.S. Clendenen grew up in Pennsylvania, has a Bachelors degree in Art History and a Masters degree in Cinema Studies. She has written extensively on the arts for publications including Boston Magazine, The San Diego Tribune and currently Shore Publishing. The story of An Artful Affair comes out of the years she was an auctioneer in Soho and wrote art reviews for the Soho Weekly News. Going on to work for the uptown auction houses of both Sothebys and Christies, she continued to review artists work in downtown galleries and studios for ARTS Magazine. These vastly divergent experiences coalesced some years later in this novel. Corinna studied fiction writing at Bread Loaf, Iowa and Yale, and lives with her husband and three children in Connecticut where she writes a film review column. An Artful Affair is her first novel.
