Boulder City Public Art Scape - Boulder City, NV
The Boulder City Public Art Scape and the City of Boulder City wish to create a more visually pleasing environment and expand the opportunities for residents and visitors to experience quality works of art by facilitating outdoor display and acquistions of sculpture throughout the downtown Boulder City area.
The BCPAS project established in 2006 to invite and provide sculptors with the unique opportunity to display their work in a community environment where the public is encouraged to explore each sculpture while strolling the streets of historic Boulder City, NV.
This is a year long outdoor art-on-loan, sculpture exhibit. All sculptures in the exhibit are available for sale throughout the year. Judges will select their top three choices for awards to be presented at the end of the exhibit year.
BCPAS is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization with a board of directors operating under the umbrella of the Nevada Community Foundation.
The art selection criteria will be based on quality, timelessness, permanence, compatiblitiy, public safety, visibility and accessiblilty of the site by the general public, meeting ADA requirements.
The Boulder City Public Art Scape program is open to all artists.
