Charles Norman Pinckney. I am a metalsmith working in the medium of jewelry and sculpture.
I use sterling, titanium, other metals, wood, bone, semi-precious stones, found objects, conceptual designs and hand fabrication in my work.
The inspiration for me as I work are memories of events from my personal history, a long, continuous thread of human connections.
I share my stories with others in my own version of 'oral tradition' when I talk about my work.
