Steven D. Bunnell PhD LCSW - What Works, LLC
Dr. Steven Bunnell brings a wealth of experience in the area of leadership training and development and Health Care Services. He has worked as a lecturer, trainer and therapist for over 30 years. The past 6 years he has worked for Davis Behavioral Health as a recovery coordinator. His prior clinical experience has been with LDS Family Services when he was employed for 25 years. He is currently contracting part time for Life Path Services in Salt Lake City. He is a story teller par excellence. His many publications include How To Eliminate Self-defeating Behaviors, Enhancing Power With Peace Of Mind, Great Ideas and Uplifting Stories, What Happens When Children Think For Themselves, Take Off The Mask. Dr. Bunnell is a licensed professional counselor in both Utah and Washington State. He received his B.S. from Brigham Young University, his M.S from the University of Utah and his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Gonzaga University. His doctoral dissertation is entitled, A Corporate Decision Making Model: The Quality Control Circle. He has developed and presents a course and series entitled: The Power of Nothing; Eliminating Self-Destructive Behavior. His work and research continues in the fields of individual and group transformation, leadership, and building effective and meaningful relationships. He is recently retired from Davis Behavioral Medicine where he worked as a staff trainer and therapist. He has also conducted up to 5 consecutive recovery and developmental groups for the Salt Lake Counseling Center. He is involved in community affairs, as well as providing pro-bono services utilizing his expertise to a number of recovery groups as well as trying to unspoil his grandchildren. He resides in Utah with his wife Karyn.
