KoJo Photography
KoJo Photography is operated by Karen O'Connor and John O'Connor (now you see where we got the KoJo).
Married for 34 years now (when did I get that old?), Karen and John both found their love of photography on different avenues. John picked up his first 35mm camera when he was 14, and Karen began to love the art when she first entered the darkroom. Now working (almost) exclusively in digital, our photography includes people, pets, still life, landscape, and wildlife photographs in both color and black and white. We love to shoot pets and people and both together. We are also available for commercial portraiture in our home studio or on location.
John ran a photography studio in the 1980's where he specialized in weddings and portraiture, and left for a life in "business." A few years ago we both switched from Film to Digital (although John does still pull the 4 x 5 out now and then and still loads film into the older Nikon's from time to time).
We will continue to improve the look and feel of our website as we learn more about just how to do it. For now, you can reach us via email at john@kojophotography.com.

Tim White Photography
Welcome to my photo web site. Take a look around and enjoy yourself. And send me an email if you have any questions or suggestions. You can also follow me on Twitter: @WhatTimSaw
I've been a photographer since the late 1960s, but mostly as a hobby, although I did run a small commercial photography business for a while, during and after college, and did some photojournalism in the first few years of my newspaper career.
But my professional work has mostly been as a newspaper editor. I spent 27 years at the Cape Cod Times, the daily newspaper on Cape Cod. I was managing editor there for 15 years, which left little time for photography.
Since 1999, I've been editorial page editor of The Fayetteville Observer, the North Carolina daily paper covering the state's Cape Fear region, as well as Fort Bragg, which is becoming the biggest (in number of soldiers) Army post in the country -- home of the 82nd Airborne Division and the Army Special Operations Command, both of which are in the news quite a bit these days.
Digital photography has made it easy for me to get back into photography on a more serious level, and nature photography is my special joy. The outdoors is my retreat, the place I find sanity. I spend as much time as I can hiking, kayaking and birding. Bird photography is my greatest photo passion.
I use Canon equipment -- currently, an Eos 7D, with an older 40D as backup. I use Canon and Sigma lenses, and am especially partial to birding with my 500mm f4 monster Canon, sometimes with a 1.4x teleconverter behind it.
The photos on this site have been edited on an iMac and Aperture photo-editing software.
Come back and visit often. I'm working to post new work often.
The photos in the galleries are all copyrighted and can't be reproduced without my written permission (and it may well involve payment, too).
Thanks for dropping in.
p.s. The photo of me and my 80-400mm zoom was taken by my wife, Rachel Blackmer, who is a terrific photographer, an incredibly gifted veterinarian and, I relearn every day, the best thing that ever happened to me. We'll be posting some of her work here too.

beesnbutterflies' Photos | SmugMug
My best photos of nature: bees, butterflies, bugs, herps, animals, birds, geological features and landscapes. Many make large stunning art with excellent resolution. I'm a Master Beekeeper, and all the 'in hive' photos and many others are available at cost.
Almost all the photos are taken with a Nikon digital camera and 150mm Macro lens or telephoto zoom. Most are in a 2x3 ratio. All the subjects are natural - no staging. Most are from the wild, but a few are from butterfly farms. None of the animals are from zoos. Other than cropping, none of the photos have been digitally altered. Enjoy!
