My name is Mark Byron - a Professional Photographer located in Cincinnati, OH. Photography has been in my family dating back into the 1800's - The Byron Co. of New York specialized in Ship and Stage Photography. At the Museum of the City of New York, a collection of 22,000 Byron prints is one of their most complete photographic documentations of life in NYC at the turn of the century. This database contains digital images and descriptive information about individual works in the Byron Collection. The collection consists of over 22,000 photographs of New York City and its environs taken by the Byron Company between 1890 and 1942.
I hope to continue this family legacy along with my Father, Tom Byron - a Professional Photographer for Life Touch Photography in Atlanta, GA.
In addition to being a full time Fine Arts major at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, I am also I am a freelance photojournalist contributing regularly to the Cincinnati Enquirer - and Cincinnati Metromix.
