ZEMBE COMMUNICATION was birthed on the 16th April 1960 when Elizabeth Robertson Campbell was born.
The interesting story goes like this: Elizabeth was suctioned out into this world, miraculously surviving a life or death ordeal. Once arriving back on the farm where they lived, she was warmly greeted by the Xhosa staff with this statement: "Yo! her head is as pointy as an axe, lets call her ZEMBE!"
This name followed her always until recently after one of the talks she delivered, a person came up to her and unknowingly said: "You are like an AXE, chopping away the error in our hearts and replacing it with the truth!"
That was enough confirmation for her husband James and Elizabeth to call their new venture ZEMBE COMMUNICATION.
So through their book THE CHOICE, the art works, pending events and the other unique ways of communicating the message they have been entrusted with, they hope you will be ignited afresh and greatly inspired.
