Capture Colorado Photography
As a child, I grew up around photography. As I grew up, I was around photography consistently; my father had very nice film cameras and a darkroom in our basement. I vividly remember hanging out in the darkroom when I was young as he developed and processed his photographs. As time went on, the torch was passed to my older brother, who took classes in high school and began to delve into the world of art and photography. To this day, both my father and brother have been creative resources for furthering my passion of photography.
I first began taking pictures, as many…with my first camera! My father gave me a little Nikon point-and-shoot after I spent a summer working for him. From there, it was a matter of progression as just casually using my camera, went to more cameras, and control of the images, and grew into the passion it is today.
I went to high school at an Outward Bounds-based school, which provided me the opportunity to grow my passion for the outdoors and respect for Colorado and nature. I am extremely passionate about mountain biking, camping, and hiking. I love Colorado and the feeling of awe I feel every time I look down on any of the amazing views the state has to offer.
My goal with photography is simply to capture Colorado, and the world, as I see it – from wherever my adventures take me!
