Anello CAPUANO
Anello CAPUANO is a various string instruments and percussion performer as well as a composer and an arranger in the field of ancient, oriental, fusion and impovised music.
Formerly a drummer within various Pop and Jazz groups, he then studied traditional moroccan, arabian and indian music at the Conservatory of Marrakesh (Morocco) and at the Banaras Hindu University (India).
He is also a comedian trained in the Commedia dell'Arte tradition and works occasionally as a stage-director, costume-designer and make-up artist.
He's been a member of several music and theater groups : Loïnhdana, Aelixir, Perceval,Tag Teatro of Venice, Taqsim, Porque Trobar... and toured for 8 years for the Jeunesse Musicales in France and Belgium.
He recorded with various groups in Italy, France, Belgium and in London with Shawn Phillips.
He's at present directing his own ensembles: La Compagnie de l'Astrolabe, Meltin'Pot and Oasis.
