In 1999, she formed Thamzin Media and in 2000 she joined the International Media giant Fremantlemedia (Formerly Pearson Television), as drama and gameshow Producer and Writer under Thamzin Media. She has produced and associate produced game shows like Small Talk, Family Fortunes, 100% and Going For Gold for clients including the SABC and M-Net. She was the Auditions Producer for M-Net’s reality flagship show Idols, and was the Head writer and Associate Producer of SABC 2’s Family game show, Family Fortunes.
She was responsible for the script adaptation, pitching and co-production of the UK drama series This Life which was screened on SABC 3 and in 2004, produced and co-wrote the detective drama series Interrogation Room with Fremantlemedia for SABC 1. In 2005 Thami produced the highly-rated reality show, ‘The Apprentice: SA’ for SABC 3. The show was hosted by former Gauteng Premier and businessman, Tokyo Sexwale. In 2006 she produced ‘The Lion King Reality Series’ for SABC and Disney, an exhilarating behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Disney Musical in SA.
