Serendib Sufi Study Circle
Sufi Sheikh M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen was a Sufi saint from Sri Lanka who for more than fifty years selflessly shared his knowledge and experience with people of every race and religion and from all parts of the world. He founded the Serendib Sufi Study Circle in Sri Lanka. He constructed the Mankumban Mosque in Jaffna. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen first came to the United States in 1971 and established the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship of North America in Philadelphia.
