Kumon is an afterschool math and reading program that employs a unique learning method designed to help each child develop the skills needed to perform to his or her full potential. We help children acquire basic academic skills for math and reading and become independent learners. It is also the largest and most established program of its kind in the world.
Our center is located in Silicon Valley, at the base of the Bay Area.
With the Kumon Method of learning, your child can develop a solid foundation in math and reading as well as improved concentration and

Individualized Instruction lets each Kumon student advance according to individual ability rather than age or grade level. To accomplish this, the Kumon curriculum presents math and reading concepts in small increments, providing ample practice for each step, mastering each one before proceeding to the next. From counting to calculus in Math and from sight word vocabulary to summary and critique in Reading, the Kumon Math and Reading Programs both begin with the basics and move through a range of skills up to highly sophisticated levels. Since the goal of the Kumon Method is to make high school study easy, Kumon students are encouraged to reach an advanced level of study. Students who begin to master material at an advanced level develop a positive and resilient attitude that is beneficial to any individual, in any aspect of life.
