DJ Carter
Born and raised in New Brighton, MN, I have always had interest in music. As soon as I hit the age of sixteen, I began attending various teen nightclubs with my friends. The club scene captivated me, but what really caught my attention was the talent of the DJs working there. This is when I decided to become a DJ, and I began surrounding myself with people to get me on my journey. Throughout the rest of that year, I met some prominent people in the industry and started gaining some experience behind the mixer. I landed my first big break at Stargate Nightclub in St. Paul, where I worked as their lighting director. My career had finally begun! Since my that first job at Stargate, DJing has brought me not only to many club venues across the state, but even as far as spring break on South Padre Island, Texas. DJing on Coca-Cola Beach in front of 22,000 people was a truly amazing experience, and will hopefully be returning for spring break in 2011. My career is driven by the pure enjoyment of DJing and meeting absolutely wonderful people. In this job, there is never a dull moment, and I am looking forward to discovering what the future.
