Emily's love of natural history is the basis of her photography. She often works at the macro level, creating portraits of the unique plants and animals found around us in the landscape. Emily especially enjoys creating series that showcase the change of the seasons or the biodiversity of native flora and fauna.
Emily's images are available as framed or matted prints. Many of the images are also available as coaster sets, notecard sets, or ceramic tile trivets.
Emily sells her work at local art shows, stores, and galleries in the Lake George, NY area and is a member of the Lower Adirondack Reginal Arts Council (LARAC). Her work can currently be found in Trees in Bolton Landing, the LARAC Shop in Glens Falls, and Vines and Branches Gallery in Hoosick Falls, NY.

Mary Beth Shaw
Paintings & collages represent a snippet view of the world, a slice of life almost. I gather collage materials from various sources, favoring antique documents, my own drawings and photography as well as other unusual imagery. The collected elements often seem quite disparate and their connection is sometimes unclear until the work is finished. The windows design of my collages is structured to invite the viewer to complete the picture within their mind's eye and allow their own imagination to play.
