No piece of the stunning silk and detailed embroidery in the Kimono is wasted by Kimono Collections, every piece is treasured and given a new life - a handbag, a wallet, a purse, even a specially designed handbag holder for use when dining.
As the Wedding Kimono is a scare resource, the availabiliy of these one of a kind handbags is limited. Each handle is handcrafted from recycled or sustainable Australian timber, hand turned and laquered for the beautiful finish that each handbag exhibits.
To ensure women have a vehicle to assist other women with their excellent choice of handbag, every Kimono Collections creation assists other women through the Youth Career Initiative (YCI). This program enables young women to have choices. I, like many others, am so fortunate to have been born in a country with a multitude of choices and i would like to contribute to creating more choice in more countries.
