Trenton 1784 - The Nation's Capital
The 225th anniversary commemoration of Trenton as the capital of the new United States existing under the Articles of Confederation runs from November 1 through December 24. Over the two month period there will be a host of activities celebrating Trenton's history. The first event, A Capital Kickoff, on November 7 from 6 - 10 pm, will be a multicultural celebration hosted by the I Am Trenton Community Foundation at the New Jersey State Museum.
