I am committed and will devote the time needed to win this campaign with energy and enthusiasm. I ask for your vote for my candidacy for the Newport City Commission. As a lifelong resident of Newport, I have a heartfelt desire to serve you with honesty and integrity, and I will work tirelessly to preserve our city's reputation and foundation. Furthermore, I will be accessible, listen and make sound judgment. My interest and experience in managing people, budgets and organizations will prove valuable in serving the citizens of Newport during these challenging times. I am excited to bring my leadership, professional skills and demonstrated work ethic to the Newport City Commission. Newport’s future is filled with challenges and opportunities, and I am eager to be a part of a prosperous future. We must continue the revitalization of this great city by building on past success but also seek new opportunities and new strategies. To be successful, we must plan for the future in the areas of economic development, jobs, budget management and education. We must also provide a safe, clean city residents are proud to call home and raise their families. I am dedicated to improving the quality of life of our citizens.
