Souza Winds | Woodwind Quintet
Souza Winds are a classical music group formed in 2005 whilst all members were studying at the Royal Northern College of Music. During their time at the RNCM they were featured in all of the College’s festivals, and have specialized in contemporary music. They have worked with composers such as Colin Matthews and Phillip Grange, which has led to them being invited to perform Matthews’ Five Concertinos for Wind Quintet in the Bridgewater Hall. In 2006 they were finalists in the Trevor Wye and Granada Prizes at the RNCM.
