Brian Maloney Design is a full-service landscape design, landscape architecture and garden design firm. Designing gardens for clients on the East and West Coasts of the United States has provided our firm with a unique opportunity to create for a wide range of climates, architectural styles and clients diverse needs. Brian Maloney has over 20 years of experience in garden design, garden installation, horticultural consultation, lecturing and college-level instruction. His early training included garden design and installation in Mendham, New Jersey, Sun Valley, Idaho and Coastal Northern California. In the 1990 s, Brian partnered with Bernard Trainor at their design and installation company, Botanika Fine Gardens, in Palo Alto, California. Brian Maloney Design Associates provides complete design and installation services for residential and small commercial properties. Brian s dedication to exceptional work has been acclaimed by industry experts on many occasions. Several of his gardens have been chosen for public tours in both California and Massachusetts. He was awarded the Thomas Church Design Cup for best overall design at the 2000 San Francisco Flower and Garden Show. He also won several other awards including the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society's Distinguished Garden Award, the Gold Medal for Palette and the People s Choice Award. Most recently he was interviewed on television on Boston s WBZ-TV, where he discussed the use of East Coast natives in the landscape.We are a landscape design ûrm skilled in producing inspiring gardens whether on a rocky bluff on Boston s North Shore or a grassy knoll in Marin with views of the Paciûc. We design simple, elegant and site-appropriate gardens in which the surroundings, plant material and architectural features are combined to create a cohesive, inspired setting.
