This system also lists conversions from one system of units to another. A question might arise in one's mind, why do we require units? The answer to this question is quite simple. Let me describe it with an example, say we compare the heights of two people any normal person may be able to say just by looking which of the two is taller or shorter, but it would be very difficult for the same person to tell by how much is the person taller or shorter. This is where the use of units comes in and hence we are able to make a figurative comparison between the two people.
