My experience with Rayner Spencer of Spencer Construction, Ventura, CA. was not a good one. I am still finding more damage to my house and noticing further examples of sloppy or careless work. One could say Spencer Construction lacks attention to detail. It may be more accurate to say that Spencer Construction lacks attention period. When does careless work become sub standard work? If careless to substandard is a range, then my house has examples of it all. Is inadequately protecting furniture and wood floors while plastering and painting careless or substandard? It is certainly below the standard I expect from a licensed contractor. How about installing new windows but not adequately weather proofing them so the inside of the wall gets soaked after the first winter storm? Yes, they did this too.
