Joseph Michael Lopez
Joseph Michael Lopez has earned a living as a freelance photographer for over a decade. He was born in New York City in 1973 to a recently emigrated Cuban mother and Puerto Rican father. Currently, Lopez is pursuing his M.F.A. in Visual Arts from Columbia University (2011). He has studied with Danny Lyon and collaborated with Bruce Weber. Lopez was a Cinematographer on Weberâs Chop Suey (2001), a documentary film that premiered to critical acclaim at the Toronto Film Festival and the Berlin Film Festival. Joseph lives and works in New York City and is a contributor for Agence VUâ.
