Garage Costs
The garages are used in the parking of the vehicles and in most of the modern garages prepaid cards are given to the customers. The customer has to swipe the card and receive a token from the machine, then the stopper will raise and the car can be taken out. In these automatic parking garages there will be no persons to monitor the system but in most cases there will be security office in the entrance and the security officer will monitor the proceedings closely. When talking about the garage costs Mr. Bean serial comes to the mind. In one of the serials, Mr. Bean will try to get out of the garage using his card but the stopper will not release as the amount in his card will expire. Mr. Bean will try all funny things to get out of the parking space. He will roll a dust bin and will try to get out when other person insert their card but nothing will be happening. Then finally he will be ready to race out of the garage when a person tries to come in and the three wheeler car will insert the card and the stopper will open. Mr. Bean will raise the car put the lights on and rush towards the exit forcing the three wheeler car to go back and eventually the car will fall down and Mr. Bean will get out of the garage. The garage costs are fixed on a daily time basis and for each day of parking the rate will rise gradually. Most of the shopping malls and other important places will be having parking spaces on top floor and the garage costs will be high in these parking areas. Normally the shopping centers will charge double the rate when compared to the garage costs charged by the ordinary parking areas. There are garages for all vehicles and for two wheelers there are separate parking lots and depending on the vehicle the garage costs will vary to a great extent. Cars will be charged the maximum followed by the two wheeler bikes and cycles. Normally one can see a lot of garages near the railway station, airport, bus station etc. which will be used by many people for convenience of transport. Mostly these garages will be run by the government and the private persons will take the place on lease by participating and winning in tenders.
