Counter Lights
Counter lights are a type of electrical lighting system for optimal lighting. Counter lights are used in domestic and office settings. One good example of counter light can be under cabinet lighting provided in kitchen of a household. Such under cabinet counter light can not only improve the illumination of the house but also help in saving electricity. Electricity is saved because the bulbs used in the counter lights are either LED or energy efficient. Counter lights in kitchen can help it to look bigger and give the room a comfortable look. Counter lights are very popular in the western world. Recently the market for counter lights is gaining momentum in India too. In many Indian apartments, counter lights are replacing single fluorescent tube light. Counter lights can be in form of spotlights, cupboard lights, and plinth lights and so on. Earlier counter lights were either incandescent, fluorescent or LED. Each of these has its own advantages and disadvantages namely incandescent lamps are cheap, easily available but they have short life and use a lot of electrical energy. Fluorescent lamps on the other hand are very sturdy, easily available, highly efficient, but they may not be small to fit in a cabinet or cupboard. LED are sturdy, but they get worn out by higher temperatures and generally produce a lot heat when put on for long time.
