Who is EdPro Development? EdPro Development, Inc. is the only nonprofit corporation in Tennessee incorporated for the sole purpose of serving schools and school districts through data-driven, quality, ongoing professional development services. Our mission is to provide Tennessee schools and school districts quality, accountable professional development that promotes and facilitates academically challenging, safe, effective and inclusive schools for ALL students while decreasing achievement gaps between students, building local capacities, and integrating multiple initiatives. Our professional development provides you individually tailored supports when you need them and as long as you need them. With over 50 years of experience serving Tennessee, EdPro staff has a proven record of offering schools and school districts effective and cost efficient professional development. EdPro Development provides a variety of professional development activities to establish research-validated, content-based differentiated and personalized instructional practices within socially responsible, predictable, safe, and positive learning environments for all students. These activities include school-based inservices and workshops, conference presentations, regional workshops, and onsite visits. Ongoing professional development plans are established through individual negotiations with school and school district personnel and articulates the intended outcomes of the professional development activities along with individually negotiated indicators of progress toward the intended outcomes. EdPro Development’s ongoing professional development activities adhere to a cyclic model of activities that include sharing of content and pedagogical practices through workshop presentations followed by ongoing, on-site follow-along coaching to support the translation of the learned content and practices to classrooms and schools. The workshop and onsite follow-along coaching cycle is repeated two to three times yearly.
