I don't know how this is really working: you choose your profession or your profession chooses you. I don't remember the time when I started to work on screenplays for television shows. It is like I am doing forever. I never had a normal job from 9 to 5. I do my work from my home, in front of my laptop. I don't have a very strict schedule, and I don't have a boss. I do the rules because I am the writer of my show. I can kill any character that I want, and I could even revive the dead ones if this is what I want. However, you always feel the need to explore something new. I work now on a script for a short movie, but I want to do something really engaging. It will be a short about a police investigation. I got this idea when I have done some investigation in the Winnebago County Court Records for the TV show that I work now. It will be about a father who killed his family in one night and no one knows why he did that. I even want further with my little investigation, and I went to the jail where this guy is incarcerated. Just going there made me feel a lot of strong feelings about how it is to live for the next 20 years in that building. I tried to talk to the killer, but he didn't want to say anything. Most likely, he thought I was a reporter who wants to write a cool article. I didn't give up I just keep going there until he will talk to me. In the end, he agreed. When I first saw him, I was really shocked about his appearance. I read his physical description in the Winnebago County Court Records, but to see he was shocking. He is a small guy who looks like someone who cannot hurt even a fly. My conversation with him was really heartbreaking. I told him that I want to do a short about his story, and he laughed about it. I told him that I didn't find any records about why he did because he never declared to the police why all murders were made, but I was lucky. He shared his story with me. He told me how in that day he lost his job, and he found out that his wife was hiding from him that she was suffering by cancer. As well, his boy was abused by his neighbor and after this the child just shut down and become a stone. They were very poor and he needed to end everything. This story is really frightening. I didn't want to expose how I created the story for my short, and that's why I didn't even say at the end of it that this was inspired by something that I found at the Winnebago County Court Records. I made the film and it was successful because of the story, but I cannot stop thinking about that guy that it is in jail. Sometimes the life is not fair, and I feel that I tooled benefit about someone else pain. Do you think I did the wrong choice?
