Hoppe Ranch
Charles Hoppe has worked and raised cattle for over 40 years, and he understands the hard work involved in producing and maintaining quality livestock. At the Hoppe Ranch, F1 Braford cows are bred with Black Angus bulls from the Parker and Gardiner operations. These combinations of animals produce quality replacement heifers and show stock which have been sold to award-winning regional 4-H members and competing livestock owners. Charles is also an active and respected livestock judge for various Texas cattle venues. The Hoppe Ranch also specializes in producing top quality Coastal Bermudagrass hay for horses or livestock. Square bales are stored in a totally enclosed structure protecting the forage from the elements, thus preserving the quality, texture and protein content. Protein analyses of forage products are available upon request. Square bales are available for sale during most of the year, either through local delivery or barn load out. A limited amount of quality round bales may also be available for purchase.
