Re-elect Judge Rachel Torres Carrillo
Judge Rachel Torres Carrillo has proudly served her tenure as Justice of the Peace for the West McDowell Justice Court, since January of 1999. In September 2006, Judge Torres Carrillo was re-elected to serve her constituents and community for another four-year term. Prior to her election, she was appointed in January of 1996 as the West Phoenix Justice Court Constable and served in that capacity for two years. She has dedicated her life to social services and education, and has taken her passion for the law and combined it with the compassion and understanding she has for her community.
Judge Carrillo is a native of Phoenix, Arizona who graduated from Phoenix Union High School and shortly thereafter received an Associate’s Degree at Phoenix College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Public Administration from Western International University. Her family is a founding family of Phoenix, Arizona; she has a daughter, Lisa Carrillo who lives in Phoenix.
