Curl-Burke Swim Club - Home
For over 29 years, Curl-Burke has received national and international acclaim for the performances of its swimmers. While being one of the largest club teams in the USA, Curl-Burke has established an impressive list of accomplishments unequaled in the USA since 1989. Beginning in 1986, the Curl-Burke Swim Club has won ten Senior National Championship Team Titles (most recently in March, 2000 in Seattle, Washington) and eight Junior National Team Titles. In addition, Curl-Burke swimmers have captured ninety-one individual national championship titles. The club also counts 5 American Olympians, 8 International Olympians, and representation on over 25 USA national teams. Since 1979, Curl-Burke age group swimmers, ages ten through eighteen, have been awarded over 260 National Age Group Championship titles. Fed by one of the most powerful age group programs in the United States, Curl-Burke swimmers have qualified for every USA Swimming National Team since 1985. Head coaches, Rick Curl and Pete Morgan have served on the USA National Team Coaching Staff since 1985, and have coached eight USA national teams in international competition.
In 1994 Rick Curl was named the ASCA Coach of the Year.
